I chose a different flow.
I used to align my labor with traditional insurance models, but I can no longer align my energy with billion-dollar corporations that complicate care. My sensitivity to justice demanded a course correction. I’m choosing to align my work directly with you… the human… instead of a system that puts paperwork over people.
Unmask & Flow is now a 100% independent practice.
I am choosing a Human-Scale Economy over a Corporate One:
I Refuse Corporate Surveillance: When I bill insurance, they own your session notes. By staying independent, your story stays strictly between us.
I Refuse "Ghost" Care: Insurance companies thrive on burnt-out providers. By stepping away, I protect my spoons so I can show up for you, not for an auditor.
You Support a Mission: Your fee doesn't go to a CEO's bonus; it fuels a woman-owned, neurodivergent solo practice that puts people over profit.
This is a stern professional boundary I’ve set to protect the integrity of your healing.
Note: For those with PPO plans, I provide a monthly Superbill (receipt) for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
A Note on Sustainability and Support
When I launched Unmask & Flow Therapy Co., I did so with a mission to provide a different kind of care for the neurodivergent community here in San Diego and beyond. Please be advised that starting September 1, 2026, my rates will transition to standard professional fees.
I want to be transparent about why this shift is happening. This adjustment is what allows me to sustain a practice that truly honors and empowers everyone navigating the beautiful complexity of neurodivergence. Whether you are an autistic individual, a person thriving with ADHD or OCD, or a parent championing a neurodivergent child, you deserve a therapist who is fully resourced and capable of providing high-quality care.
By moving to standard professional fees, I can ensure the longevity of this practice. It allows me to continue offering the 'real-talk,' low-sensory, and unmasked environment that our community deserves. My goal is to remain a stable, long-term 'Navigator' for every person and family I serve, ensuring that we can move out of survival mode and into a true state of flow together.
